A word from Wendu
I built this for us.
When I became a mother, nobody handed me a guide for my nervous system. Nobody told me that the way I react to my children has everything to do with the child I once was.
I was doing it all, and my body was paying for it. I was the screaming mom, and I hated that about myself.
In My Mom Era started as a caption and became a conviction. We deserve a space where all of who we are is welcome, our heritage, our faith, our ambition, our mess, our healing.
In My Mom Era began as the first in what was meant to be a series of events, but nothing has pulled at my heart the way this one has. I believe God’s heart is especially tender toward mothers. There’s a verse that has anchored this work for me:
“He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.”
— Isaiah 40:11
He sees you in the thick of it. He gently leads the ones with little ones. July 11 is for us. Come exactly as you are.
You are not too emotional. You are not failing. You are a nervous system that has never been taught how to come home to itself.
— Wendu Ejim
The truth about survival mode
You became a mother. Nobody taught you how to regulate.
You love your children more than anything. And you’ve snapped in a way that broke your own heart. You’ve cried in the bathroom. You’ve carried emotions bigger than the moment that triggered them, because nobody told you what to do with what you inherited.
The Nervous System Reset is a 3-hour virtual experience that gives you what the parenting books skipped: practical, science-backed tools for emotional regulation, taught by women who understand the full complexity of who you are.
This is not a webinar. This is a reset.
The Reset Framework
Four pillars. One continuous practice.
This is the architecture of the day and of your healing. Each session, each breakout room, every tool is built around this framework.
01NoticeAwareness
Before you can change anything, you have to slow down enough to see it. We begin with your body — what it’s holding, what it’s telling you, and why it matters.
02UnderstandPatterns
The way you respond to your children is rarely about your children. We explore the patterns you inherited — and what it means to meet the child you once were with compassion.
03RegulateTools
Practical tools that work in the real, messy, beautiful chaos of motherhood. Breathwork. Grounding. Co-regulation. Things you can use tonight, and every night after.
04ReconnectIdentity
You are not just someone’s mother. You are a woman with a heritage, a faith, a calling, a history, and a future. Reconnecting to that is where wholeness begins.
The experience
What you’ll walk away with.
Three focused 30-minute sessions, each built around a specific transformation. Then one hour in guided breakout rooms to go deeper with the teacher whose work moved you most.

Wendu started In My Mom Era because she was tired of pretending she had it all together. What moms said.

Each segment had a different emotion to relate with — it wasn’t someone just talking, it was connecting. If that makes sense.

The Q&A and all the vulnerable responses to “why I became a mom” was everything to me. So much power in sharing our stories.

Why partner with us
01
A highly specific audience
Millennial and Gen Z mothers, predominantly Black and multicultural, digitally engaged, and household purchasing decision-makers. Not a general audience — a deeply defined community.
02
Brand trust, not brand noise
We keep sponsors to a maximum of five per event. Your brand has room to breathe, not compete. Every partner is vetted for alignment before acceptance.
03
Built for the long arc
In My Mom Era is growing toward an in-person retreat in 2027. Partners who come in now build relationships with this community from the ground up.
In My Mom Era · 2025
It took a village.
The first In My Mom Era happened because people believed in it before it was anything. Before there was a stage, a crowd, or a plan — there were people who said yes. People who offered their name, their platform, their resources, and their trust.
To every brand, partner, and individual who showed up for this community in 2025: thank you. You made the room possible. You made the moms in it feel like they mattered. That is not a small thing. It is, in fact, everything.
We are building something that lasts — and the fact that you were here at the beginning means the world to me.
With so much gratitude — Wendu
